NECK PAIN, BACK PAIN, SCIATICA

Pain is not just a symptom—it’s a signal. Whether it's chronic or acute, pain reflects a breakdown in the way your body is coordinating movement, protecting itself, and processing information. It’s not random, and it’s not just “tight muscles” or “a bad disc.” True healing requires a deeper understanding of how your brain, spine, joints, and muscles are working—or failing—to work together.

At Vital Balance, we don’t chase pain—we decode it.

Our 3-System Approach to Pain:

Most pain-related practitioners—including physical therapists, traditional chiropractors, and massage therapists—focus on just one or two areas. We address all three primary systems involved in pain and degeneration:

1. Myofascial Balance
Muscles, fascia, and connective tissue often develop compensatory tension due to poor neurologic input or faulty movement patterns. We assess and correct patterns of overactive vs underactive muscles, fascial restriction, and protective bracing—restoring fluidity and strength where your body has been overworking or shutting down.

2. Structural Alignment and Joint Mobility
When the spine or joints are out of alignment—even subtly—it alters the body’s mechanics, increases stress on tissues, and interferes with feedback to the brain. We use precise, gentle corrections (especially in the upper cervical spine) to improve joint mobility, reduce mechanical irritation, and reestablish symmetry and load distribution.

3. Neurologic Activation and Coordination
Pain often persists because the nervous system is stuck in a loop—either hypersensitized (too much signal) or disorganized (poor coordination). We evaluate and retrain the brain’s communication with the body through:

  • Eye movement and reflex testing

  • Balance and proprioceptive training

  • Movement pattern rewiring and sensorimotor integration

This allows the nervous system to shift out of protection mode and into repair mode.

Conditions We Commonly Help:

  • Chronic neck, back, or shoulder pain

  • Sciatica and nerve pain

  • Tension and migraine headaches

  • TMJ and jaw pain

  • Postural strain and joint degeneration

  • Repetitive stress injuries and athletic overuse

  • Pain that persists “even though everything looks normal”

Why This Approach Works

Pain is rarely isolated to one tissue or area. It’s the output of a complex network that includes your nervous system, skeletal alignment, fascial tension, and brain-body feedback loops. If you only address the muscle, joint, or nerve—but not how they interact—you may get temporary relief, but not true healing.

At Vital Balance, we restore global system balance, so the pain no longer has a reason to exist. When the body is aligned, the brain is calm, and movement becomes efficient again—healing follows.

If you’re tired of managing symptoms and ready to correct the source, we invite you to schedule a consultation and experience the difference of neurologic, whole-body pain care.
