THE EXPERIENCE
HOW WE HELP YOU ACHIEVE YOUR DESIRED GOAL.
At Vital Balance, we challenge the status quo by thinking differently from the standard healthcare model.
We deliver the highest level of personalized assessment to identify where the communication between your brain and body has broken down. Then we work to restore that connection — so your body can better recognize and regulate imbalance, adapt to stress, and stay out of the cycle of chronic dysfunction.
We just happen to be Cincinnati’s top-rated neuro-structural specialist.
Ready to find out what your brain and body are really capable of?
BEGINNING
BE TRULY HEARD
Your first visit is all about you. We take the time to truly listen—to understand not just your symptoms, but how they’re impacting your life.
Dr. G will personally sit down with you to learn about your lifestyle, daily habits, and how you use your body. We believe this level of insight is essential to delivering meaningful, personalized care.
From there, you’ll receive a comprehensive exam that evaluates the neurologic, myofascial, and skeletal systems—giving us a clear picture of where dysfunction is coming from and how to correct it at the root.
FUNCTIONAL NEUROLOGIC ASSESSMENT
This is where we evaluate how well your brain is communicating with your body. As the supercomputer behind every function in your body, the brain is often overlooked by conventional healthcare providers, trainers, and therapists—yet it holds the key to lasting health and performance.
At Vital Balance, we use advanced infrared eye-tracking technology to identify subtle neurological imbalances by assessing how your eyes move. We're proud to be the only healthcare clinic in Cincinnati offering this level of precision, allowing us to detect brain-body disconnects that often go unnoticed but contribute to chronic dysfunction.
In addition to eye movement, we assess your vestibular system—the inner ear’s role in balance and spatial awareness. When this system is out of sync, it can impact posture, coordination, and even cognitive clarity.
Finally, we perform a NeuroStructural exam to see how brain imbalances may be influencing your muscle tone and skeletal alignment. Together, these insights help us uncover the root causes of your symptoms and guide a care plan tailored to restore optimal brain-body harmony.

FULL-BODY MYOFASCIAL ASSESSMENT
Most people develop some degree of muscle and fascial imbalance—especially from prolonged sitting. But it’s the side-to-side asymmetries that often lead to problems.
During this assessment, we’ll evaluate full-body range of motion and joint mobility to identify where these imbalances are occurring. We then chart the findings based on severity in a personalized report, allowing us to create a targeted plan of myofascial releases and stretches—tailored to your specific needs.
Unlike generic exercise programs or one-size-fits-all approaches like stretch labs, our method ensures we only target what your body actually needs, avoiding wasted time and preventing harm from overstretching already underactive or vulnerable areas.

SKELETAL ALGINMENT + POSTURE ASSESSMENT
Subtle skeletal imbalances can shift your body’s center of gravity, forcing certain joints and muscles to work harder than they should. While some asymmetry is normal, anything beyond 0.5 degrees can lead to chronic stress, dysfunction, and compensation patterns.
During this assessment, we’ll examine posture, leg length symmetry, foot function, gait, and pelvic and shoulder alignment to determine how well your frame is positioned and functioning. When spinal segments become fixated or locked due to poor alignment, the brain receives distorted feedback from that region—similar to a circuit breaker affecting everything downstream. These areas can disrupt communication with the muscles, organs, and tissues they’re connected to.
Conversely, when spinal joints move excessively due to ligament laxity, it can alter the natural curves of the spine—leading to instability and accelerated degeneration. Our goal is to detect and correct these imbalances early, preserving your structure and protecting long-term function.

ADAPTIVE HEALTH ASSESSMENT
True health isn’t just about how you feel—it’s about how well your body can adapt to the world around you. Adaptability is the foundation of resilience and long-term wellness.
One of the most powerful ways to measure this is through Heart Rate Variability (HRV). Unlike traditional metrics that reflect a single system, HRV reveals the dynamic balance between the brain, heart, lungs, and gut—offering a window into your body’s overall regulatory capacity.
Research consistently links higher HRV with:
-
Lower cardiovascular risk
-
Reduced all-cause mortality
-
Improved metabolic health
-
Stronger immune resilience
-
Better stress adaptation and mental health
At Vital Balance, we monitor your HRV during each visit. As we restore balance to your nervous system, we often see HRV begin to rise—indicating improved neurologic efficiency and adaptability. Your brain is constantly firing trillions of signals that regulate every organ and function in your body. When that signaling becomes more precise, your entire system works smarter—not harder.
The result? A more resilient, better-regulated, and harder-to-break human being.

IMAGING
Depending on the results of your NeuroStructural exam, we may need to take imaging to see how the structures around your brainstem are aligned. We are proud to be the only clinic in Cincinnati with on site three dimensional CBCT imaging used for this purpose. This advanced technology allows us to assess your anatomy with extraordinary precision—ensuring that no important detail is missed. It helps us craft the most accurate and personalized care plan possible.
In addition to CBCT, we also offer on-site digital X-rays to evaluate spinal alignment, pelvic imbalances, and overall structural health.

GETTING STARTED
CUSTOMIZED PLAN OF ACTION
Once, we're clear on what's causing the problem, we will have a customized game plan to correct it as effectively and efficiently as possible. Treatments and corrections depend on the case. Generally, we create a plan of specific brain stimulation exercises and specific spinal alignment adjustments.
